We Love Music at Hiss Church!
Each Sunday worship service has its own musical character:
The 8:00 a.m. informal service features the piano/keyboard, solos, and church singing, primarily using The United Methodist Hymnal and The Faith We Sing.
The 9:30 a.m. contemporary service features the piano/keyboard, drums and other instruments, praise song leaders, youth and children's choirs, solos, music videos, and church singing, using a variety of contemporary music with the words projected in large print on a video screen for all to see.
The 11:00 a.m. traditional service features the pipe organ, choirs, solos, handbells, and church singing, primarily using The United Methodist Hymnal and The Faith We Sing.

Contemporary Worship Praise Team
Praise Singers lead the congregation in singing the Opening Praise Songs at the 9:30 a.m. Contemporary Service, under the direction of Jim Shiplet. Anyone who loves singing praises to God is welcome to join the singers any Sunday morning. (Singers need to be old enough to read the words to the songs.) Musicians are also welcome to supplement the keyboard and drums as needed.
