Hiss Institute for the Study of Middle America Issues
Instructor, Donald Wiley
Finally! Don Wiley will resume teaching on March 6 at 7:00 pm in the Bride’s Room. The spring topic is “The Earliest Americans: From 40,000 years-ago to about 1500 AD. The last part will include a brief introduction to the Mound Builders of Eastern North America.
Geographers, anthropologists, historians and others have pondered this question “Who was first? From where did they come?” for hundreds of years. This class will present various theories and hopefully fill you with questions.
The class will run for 5 weeks concluding on April 3rd. As usual, there will be a $1. 00 charge for materials.
Questions? Just ask. I hope to see you all on March 6. Bring a friend.
