TRUNK OR TREAT
Sunday, October 29, 2017
5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Upper Parking lot ( North lot- corner of Putty Hill Avenue and Harford Road)
WHAT? Trunk or Treat is a Halloween Event where people gather and park their cars in our upper Parking lot. They open their trunks and decorate them. Then they pass out candy from their trunks. It provides a safe environment for trick or treaters and is great church/community fellowship!
HOW? Pick a theme or just use your old Halloween Decorations.
Remember that toddlers will be around so nothing too scary. Wear a costume. Provide treats for the trick or treaters. For those in the
congregation who are unable to participate they can help by donating bags of treats (individually wrapped candy, pretzels, pencils, etc.) .
NO NUTS, NO PEANUT BUTTER, PLEASE.
WHY? Hiss would like to use this as a community outreach for more
disciples. Using Bible Story themes would be one idea for decorating your trunk. We hope to hand out information about our upcoming events and Holiday schedules.
HOW CAN I HELP? You could donate candy, decorate your trunk, grill some hot dogs to serve, run a beverage stand with cider, hot chocolate or coffee, direct traffic, help setting up, put posters up in your neighborhood, bring your children, grandchildren, neighbors; PRAY for good weather, good crowd and safety for all.
We hope you will gather your friends and family together and have a good and spooky time. To offer your help, please call 410-668-5665 or email Michelle Hurley
